Sanctuary Dispensary revitalizes two warehouses beneath the freeway, converting one into a retail dispensary while positioning the adjacent building for future cultivation. Our scope included site planning, parking, security, lighting, exterior, and full interior design—creating a secure yet welcoming environment. The entry pairs a clean white palette with lush greenery and vibrant pop art, setting a professional, approachable tone, while playful furnishings introduce color and comfort through the secure sequence into the retail space, and the client’s strong creative direction helped shape the distinctive personality of the environment. Inside, the sales floor balances precision and energy, with rich wood perimeter millwork and glass display cases presenting products with clarity, and custom-painted metal tables showcasing transparent bud pods as sculptural focal points. Clean lines, integrated lighting, and clear circulation support staff workflow while maintaining separation from storage and delivery, as local artwork and graphic moments add depth—resulting in a project that helped set a new standard for dispensary design following legalization.
