Village Westpark

Roseville, California

29,039 sf | 3 acres

Located in West Roseville, Village Westpark marks the first commercial development of its kind by Westpark Communities—designed as a central neighborhood hub within a 17-acre infill site. Oriented alongside a neighborhood park, the Village extends living space for surrounding housing, creating a seamless connection between architecture, outdoor areas, and daily life. Organized around two retail pads, an anchor restaurant, and a café with an ice cream parlor, the site offers everyday destinations that activate park-facing edges and support local gathering. A close-to-heart project for developer Juli Hilton, the design blends modern industrial farmhouse influences with a subtle touch of hygge, pairing warm, textured materials with industrial elements and saturated accents to create an eclectic yet cohesive identity. Park-facing patios and outdoor-oriented spaces reinforce the connection between interior life and landscape, while pedestrian- and bike-friendly circulation, intimate nooks, and gathering areas invite interaction and foster community. Working within site constraints and a measured budget, thoughtful layout and carefully framed vantage points shape a neighborhood destination where design, outdoor living, and connection come together to define a strong sense of place.
